This Sporran is my interpretation of a 17th. Century Scottish Sporran that resides in the National Museum of Scotland.  A nod of respect here to Craftsman Hamish Lamley of Pictavia Leather who has made several beautiful interpretations in this style that helped inspire me to make my own attempt.   A nod also to an unknown Craftsman (possibly from Ukraine) who sold one online to my good friend Mark Patterson.  Mark loaned me that sporran, asking if I would make a larger version for me.  The Sporran pictured here is the cousin of the one I made for Mark.  I very much like the style and design so I will be making additional versions in the near future.  This Sporran is made from cowhide nubuc.
