Glencoe Targe (1692 Massacre of Glencoe)

Finding myself with lambskins that were damaged in the tanning process, I was intrigued by the shapes and patterns.  After puzzling the pieces together the result reminded me of the landscapes of Glencoe and the somber story of the 1692 Massacre of Glencoe. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massacre_of_Glencoe

At 18 1/2 inches this targe is large enough to carry at scottish events, but also suitable for hanging in your study.
